James Davis-IT Academy Director and Programming/Web Design Instructor

Mr. James “Tommy” Davis is a 1981 graduate of A. Crawford Mosley High School.  He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from The University of Florida in 1985.  His teaching career began in January 1986 at Rosenwald Jr. High School, where he taught 8th grade math for the last half of the 85-86 school year.   When the 9th grade moved from the junior high to the high school, Mr. Davis moved up with the changes.  He taught math and computers as well as coached soccer and football at Bay High School.  In 2000, Mr. Davis came to Mosley to revive the computer programming classes.  In his 30 years of teaching, Mr. Davis has taught math, computer applications, computer programming, game design and simulation, and cybersecurity.  Mr. Davis is now the chairman of the CTE department and the director of the Mosley IT Academy. He currently teaches AP Computer Science A, Foundations of Programming (JAVA), Computer and Network Security, Cyber Security Fundamentals, Foundations of Web Design, and User Interface Design.  In his free time he enjoys traveling and shopping with his wife Stephanie.  He also enjoys watching Gator football, sharing his knowledge, and spending time with his three dogs ( Gator – a lab mix pound puppy, Allie – a full breed lovable white German Shepard and Gracie – a full blooded long hair Chihuahua with tons of personality).

Stephanie Parker

Stephanie Parker-Digital Design Instructor

Mrs. Stephanie Parker is a 1995 Graduate of Troy University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Education. Her teaching career began in August of 1995 at Rutherford High School where she taught 9th grade Keyboarding (Basic Computer Skills). Mrs. Parker came to Mosley in the fall of 2001 to teach Marketing and Cooperative Education. She later obtained an additional certification in Marketing Education. Here at Mosley she has taught Marketing, Microsoft Office, Accounting, and Digital Design. Outside of Mosley, Mrs. Parker enjoys spending time with family and friends.

 

 

 

 


Patrick Hair

Patrick Hair-IIT Instructor

Mr. Patrick Hair is a Bay County native and a 1984 graduate of Mosley High School. He was a member of Key Club and played trumpet in the band. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida in Pensacola with minors in Psychology and Business. Mr. Hair has worked in both the private and public sectors for nearly 20 years. He has headed IT departments in both sectors, working with Novell NetWare and Microsoft Windows Servers and has earned various certifications in both. Deciding to change his career from working with computers to teaching others about them, Mr. Hair went through the Educators Preparation Institute at Gulf Coast Community College and began his teaching career at Rosenwald High School, where he taught Introduction to Information Technology and Digital Design. He was selected as Rosenwald’s “Teacher of the Year” for the 2013-2014 school year. This is his first year teaching at his alma mater. In his free time, Mr. Hair participates with the Boy Scouts of America and enjoys travelling with his wife and children. Disney World is always a family favorite. While Mr. Hair has always been a die-hard Auburn fan, he will enjoy watching UWF’s inaugural 2016 football season. Go Argos!
