The school will stress recruitment of Asian, African-American, and female students. There is a nationwide need for more females in the IT field. We have requested posters for The Day of Code that show women leaders in IT. Guidance counselors are going to encourage enrollment for the above underrepresented groups and the advisory board is working on ways to increase representation from these groups. We have also made contact with Brian Barnes from the College Board to request help in the area of recruitment.
